This shortage affects the Trauma Center and the hospital’s ability to help those in need.”Huston said the hospital is now in dire need for blood donations of all types because of its “very low” blood inventory.“If you are currently eligible to donate blood, please go to the Blood Donor Center today! No appointment needed. Please do not hesitate to encourage your family and friends to support us as well,” Huston said. The Huntington Hospital Blood Donor Center is located at 711 S. Fairmont Avenue in Pasadena. It is open from 9:30 a.m. To 4:30 p.m. Monday through Thursday, and from 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. on Fridays.Walk-in blood donors are welcome.
