Two Schools Go Back To Remote Learning

first_imgPexels / PixabayWEST ELLICOTT – Two area schools have returned to remote learning today after new positive cases of COVID-19 are impacting the district.Southwestern Central School and the Bemus Point Central School Districts both changed their operations on Friday.Southwestern High School officials say a positive case lead to multiple possible contacts. They say parents will be notified if their child is impacted and asked to quarantine.In the Bemus Point District, a transportation employee tested positive, with all transportation staff identified as close contacts. They have since been placed in quarantine. Bemus Point Central School will remain remote due to the lack of school buses until January 19.
