I Will Score Goals for Leicester City

first_imgNigeria international Ahmed Musa has said that he will score goals for Leicester City in the Premier League because he has done that at all the clubs he has played.The Jos-born star in this exclusive interview told AfricanFootball.com he will do his best to adapt quickly to the EPL and do his best to reward the team with goals as he hopes to win trophies as he did with CSKA Moscow in Russia.Congratulations on your big move to Leicester City.Thank you.How do you feel that the deal sailed through finally after such a long wait? I feel great. EPL is a league I always dreamt to play in and with the champions as my team, it’s a great pleasure and fulfillment of this dream.You started your career from Jos and you have since played in Holland, Russia and now England, how will you describe the experience so far?I thank Almighty Allah for everything. It has been a worthwhile journey. I enjoyed my time at every club that I have played. The experiences at every club and country have been great. I still have a lot of good memories from all these clubs.Your career has been on the rise since you played for JUTH, what have been the secrets?I have no secret, but I believe in hard work, dedication to duty and determination to succeed. Above all, God has been there always to crown my efforts.Your transfer to Leicester City was for a club record transfer fee, won’t this put you under pressure?I have never been under pressure at any club I have played for and here won’t be different. I will be myself at Leicester as there is no reason whatsoever to be under pressure, I know why I am here and I will put in my best.Before this move went through, you had been linked to other clubs in the Premier League in England, how do you feel when all these deals didn’t work out, especially when you almost joined Leicester in January?I believe God’s appointed time for everything is the best. I have never been in a hurry to do anything, so I kept calm and continued with my job knowing it will happen at God’s appointed time.What memories do you take from CSKA Moscow to Leicester?I had a great time with CSKA Moscow. I thank my teammates, coaches, officials and fans for their support to achieve all these with the team. I hope to experience same in England.What about your family, are you taken them with you to England?Yes, of course. They will join me in England soon. It’s good whenever they are around.What do you have to tell your fans and those Leicester City?I thank them for their support and prayers. I will continue to do my best.
