first_imgJon Gruden was upset after he traded Khalil Mack.The Raiders coach told The Athletic he “cried for three days” after the team sent the 28-year-old linebacker to the Bears in early September in exchange for a package centered around two first-round picks. The Raiders will have three first-round picks in the 2019 NFL Draft next month.Mack registered 12 1/2 sacks and made his fourth Pro Bowl in five years with Chicago last season. Oakland struggled in 2018 and finished with a 4-12. But, the team made major upgrades this offseason, including trading for disgruntled Steelers receiver Antonio Brown as well as signing wideout Tyrell Williams, offensive lineman Trent Brown and safety Lamarcus Joyner.Gruden said the Raiders would not have been “able to” acquire those players if they had not completed the Mack deal.
