The 105 points on Wichita State and the 101 points on Illinois State earlier in the season (Feb. 10) mark the first time a Drake team has scored 100 or more points against a league opponent twice in a season since the 1994-95 team scored 100 on Evansville and 105 on Illinois State. The 2016-17 season featured many thrilling moments and accomplishments for Drake athletics. No. 6 – Wendell Leaves a Legacy at Drake center_img In the win over the Shockers, the Bulldogs shot an impressive 19-of-31 (61.3 percent) from the three-point arc, breaking the school record of 17 for the number of three-pointers made in a single game.
